LiftKit Coming soon to the App Store

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026  ·  Effective on publication

The short version: LiftKit keeps your data on your device. We don’t have accounts, we don’t run servers that store your workouts, and we don’t collect, sell, track, or share your information. There are no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.

Who we are

LiftKit (“the app”) is developed and published by Ferrixguild LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains how the app handles information. It applies to the LiftKit iOS app and does not cover any third-party app or service you may use alongside it.

Information we collect

None that leaves your device. LiftKit does not require an account, a login, an email address, or any sign-up. We do not operate a server that receives your personal information.

The app creates and stores the following locally on your device:

This data is saved on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device storage frameworks. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. If you have iCloud or device backups enabled, that data may be included in your own private Apple backup, which is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and is not accessible to us.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

HealthKit integration is strictly optional and off by default. The app requests no Health access unless you turn it on in Settings and grant permission through Apple’s system prompts. If you enable it:

Health data is handled entirely by Apple’s HealthKit on your device (and, if you enable it, synced within your own private iCloud). We never receive, store, or transmit your Health data, and we never use it for advertising or marketing. You can revoke Health access at any time in the iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health or Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, LiftKit schedules local notifications on your device to signal timer phase changes (for example, when an interval or EMOM minute ends) while the app is in the background. These are generated on-device and are not sent through, or visible to, us or any external service.

Analytics, tracking, and advertising

LiftKit contains no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), we do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not share data with data brokers. This is reflected in the app’s Privacy Manifest and in the “Data Not Collected” label on the App Store.

Sharing and selling

Because we don’t collect your data, there is nothing for us to sell or share. We do not disclose your information to third parties, except where we would be legally required to produce information we do not, in fact, hold.

Data retention and deletion

Your data lives on your device for as long as the app is installed. Deleting the app removes its local data from your device. Data you wrote to Apple Health is managed by you in the Apple Health app and is not affected by deleting LiftKit.

Children’s privacy

LiftKit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — the app collects no personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before the new behavior ships.
